Our story began a long time ago, back in 1970. I (A.M’s Michael) traveled to Dubai-UAE as a young man and I spent my days more then 32+ years working on large-scale municipal and government infrastructure projects. It was back-breaking work, but it taught me the true meaning of resilience and quality. When I returned to back home, I brought that hands-on experience with me and started our very first construction and material supply company A.K Ashraf Constructions. I poured my life into laying a solid foundation for our family.
But a father’s greatest pride is watching his children elevate his hard work. My eldest son (S.Michael), a passionate and driven Civil Engineering industry, stepped into the business. He didn’t just take the easy route; he wanted to understand the industry from the inside out. He worked in various local companies just to learn how different systems operated. Once he mastered the groundwork, he took his ambitions back to Dubai-UAE. He worked there as a Civil Engineer and eventually built a highly successful construction equipment rental and building renovation business from scratch, dedicating more then years to growing it.
His vision, however, was always global. He took our family’s decades of expertise across the world to the United States. After working in a Civil Engineering industry in the American market and mastering their rigorous standards, he officially laid the bricks for Michael Builders Services LLC.
Today, what started with my own two hands in 1970 has evolved into a proud generational legacy. This business has passed from a father, to a son, and now down to the grandsons who are managing its modern operations.
